An Antique Victorian part of a bodice
The front bodice with centre front also the top back and mandarin neck with lace collar
It fastens at the neck with hooks and eyes, it has hooks but no eyes on the shoulder
It may have been part of a bodice or could have been worn over a blouse?
The lining is black cotton with cream machine lace over then cut out velvet above.
The neck edge measures 12" (30 cm) which is very small
Condition
Overall in good condition for it's age, as mentioned it is missing the eyes for the hooks on the shoulder
The neck lace is dirty
One of the velvet circles has broken away from the bar it was attached to
